One who ties 'flies' to fish is a student of life, And there's art found in cast that presents fish the lure, Both the hunter, the hunted, creation God's plan, And the fittest's survival makes future secure. It's a metaphor hard to acknowledge as Love, Wise think twice of a gift with no visible barb, One that dazzles and prances its way in your life, Just a taste first is best when lure's dressed in bright garb. Though a barb hides inside, one may choose to take bait, It's the truth! Day will come you view death as a friend, Best to live life aware of its risks if you dare!
