Black Holes
How long do we lay sleeping before we die? Awakening to the cryptic blinding light Of a dwarf star cooling and dying A peaceful death, Hoping there is something on the other Side and we are not dead, staring at The billion of billion stars, blinking back Fooling us into believing the light we See is real, dead more millenniums than time Can comprehend. Confused trying to sort Out all the unequal decisions of a lifetime, explained In black holes that remain invisible. Equations meant to define Who we were, travelers on a journey Floating along with the cosmic debris of space, And beyond to the borderlands, Entrapped in the uncertainty of questions that randomly Seem to interact between heaven and Earth. What if we are being watched every day? Space and time a game of interstellar chance The random probability of choices Made, unmade, reconsidered With answers moving in parallel, questions Floating beyond some event horizon Into the blackness of nothing, thinking There is a worm hole passage where the light Shows, the non-infinite white hole expanse Exiting beyond our tomorrow, before our Today’s, measured by what we find On the other side A parallel universe where the end can be Just the beginning. Emerging in a explosion Through the worm hole, wondering Whether the journey is completed or Just starting out, finding In our endings can be the beginning. Anything is possible.
