For 7 Yr Olds
Limericks There once was a small rabbit from Siam, Who always proclaimed, “I think I can”, In time he did grow as white as the snow, Now he gives auditions on the tram! There was a smart fox with ginger fur, Who was happy and started to purr, No one could catch him, No trap with a latched trim, He outsmarted them each time it occurred! There once was a poodle named Frou Frou, Sometimes it was large crowds that she drew, From start to Finish, Her pink nails and her image, stuck by her as if they were glue! There was a monkey who said “tee hee”, He’d laugh and strike his knee, They knew he was funny, Therefore, no dumb bunny, For people enjoyed his company! There was a couple out with a camera, Who saw a sailor slip on a banana, When he looked up to see, They said “Dear me”, As he hopped on a ship to Panama! There was a young witch in a ditch, When her broom was stuck she took a hitch, Now she’s no longer solo, For from a gentleman she borrowed, Now she’s a judge watching Polo! There once was a young man from Duluth, Who did not like to tell the truth, His friends weren’t buying, Then he gave up his lying, So, he wouldn’t look like a goof! There was a young man from Boring, Who was often lounging and snoring, Then one day on a whim, He learnt how to swim, Now he looks forward to every morning! There was a young girl with a moat, Who wore a polka dot coat, When she crossed on the bridge, It fell flat with a loud hinge, While on fairy wings she did float!
