It ran swiftly across the footpath in front of me Its tail vanishing behind broken wall I could see. I’m not superstitious in matters of life of mine But black cat crossing path wasn’t a good sign. Although my job interview went on quite well On my hope a spell of the cat’s bad omen fell. After a month when I got the selection letter I searched the black cat with a cake on platter.
