This Love
This love was just a game of fun where did these feelings come from? Wasn't looking for it in any way never dreamed it would come today. You didn't need me or my quirks didn't call my name at first, then there it was, waiting for the pause. What makes love breathe causing stirs in the heart to beat for only you, your nearness, your smile indiscreet, your kisses and your body heat? What dreams brought it to life, isn't living enough of the eternal fight? Who can describe it's emotional treasure where once life without, could not be measured. I'll take it now, heart open, thinking clear. Hold it close, near and dear despite the efforts, fear of its loss what's worth giving has no measured cost. Here it is, my open heart beating to the rhythm of your counterpart. Take it, keep it safe, forever cherished without its protective care, I perish.
