This universe has expanded some, I guess. Faces askew, voices pitched differently. I remember everything but not this way. It smells funny. Was I born here? I have a theory that it is all infused with too much memory. Every raindrop ignites an association. Every association is a puncture in my little pond. Beautiful ripples transform the landscape. Settling finally, changed, a slightly different center achieved. Some days are worse than others. Reality gets so strained I forget who I am. What am I anyway but this which I claim to perceive?
