Our Suffering Bond
Flaxen fear chains the children to the past, guilty conscience whips the back of their mind Astral transference of mirrored souls — the fathers become the sons Walk in their parent’s shoes, the same choices the children say they wouldn’t choose Different decisions made, lesser debts of regret to be paid Our suffering bond ... we’re all connected at the navel The fathers who gave the slave punishment, their children felt the boomerang blow The mothers who gave their bastard seed an adopted color under the master’s name Their maternal selfless deed was comforted by compassionate tears of imitation shame The fathers who received the grave reward, their children cut the separating color umbilical cord Acknowledging our suffering bond ... we’re all connected to the roots in the ground Death’s gon take us all to the same place, the worms gon consume everyone’s face Our buried bones all be white, darkness of the earth be the same black We all gon be the same color as the Light, those blessed souls who first come back Our suffering bond is gonna separate at the second revival of those who love to hate Who’s your father, and what's the inheritance of your son? This all will be determined once the suffering bond is judgment agreed upon
