The Dark Spot In Your House
Did you ever see a dark shadow in the corner of the ceiling and thought you could almost see eyes... you can, I like to tease, letting light reflect off my oracles of sight for a mere second. Don't forget I lurk in darkness....... ever. Its almost time for more blood, to silence my friends -within. I step into the shade of an elm tree outside your house and with a thought I'm in, looking around like someone window shopping, in search of that prime cut of meat, young, naive, someone you can taste fear in the air around. Materializing in mist I stand in that closet the door won't stay closed on, listening, as you lock up for the night, I hear the locks click and feel the darkness build as you shut off the lights, lying in wait for my moment. As you go to climb into bed I reach out from under it, brushing the back of your knee causing you to falter, flowing out I grab you by the throat from behind, pulling you close, almost caressingly, letting you feel my breath on the side of your neck, your body trembles with fear in my cold, deadly hold, the scent of your horror is almost too much for me. Slowly, I stab a claw into your side, slowly, I drag it across your ribs, laying open muscle and tendons, then allowing your blood to drip onto my tongue. You try to curl up in a ball, try to block it out. Now where is the fun in that. I keep your body erect sinking my teeth into your shoulder removing a chunk. You'd scream except with my hand around you throat only a pitiful rasp escapes, I feel it vibrate through my chest almost causing my heart to beat. So in that moment of weakness I become merciful and seditiously tear into the back of your neck, cracking into your spine then ripping it out. For you the torture ends, and as the light leaves your eyes playtime begins for me.
