The First Kiss
The First Kiss Were you the first to kiss, or was it I? The first to notice me, or one that caught my eye. The one to touch my heart and then my arm Were you intrigued? Were you alarmed? Were you the one who looked at my soul and knew. Or was it I that saw the same in you. Were you the one charmed, swept off your feet. Or was it me, with your eyes of desire and that chocolate oh so sweet. Was it you that dreamed of the times we would share. Or was it I, who saw a woman of grace, beauty, and flair. Was it you that made me laugh and cry at first. Or was it I, who caused you're best, your worst. Was it you that decided life with me would be well spent. Or was it me, that thought from God you were sent. Were you the one who thought of being my closest friend. Or was it I who knew that we would be together in the end. I guess after all, it doesn't matter. Who was the former, who was the latter. What's important is we took a chance. It looks like we didn't miss. But I think that you really were the first one to kiss.
