Rhyme Time Iii - Christmas
My Christmas Keeps Changing My Christmas keeps changing each decade or so! It had to be magic my first years although I barely recall it from so long ago. One decade flew by and then I was ten. It’s so nice reflecting on Christmas back then. Before I left home was my best decade when I had all my family. I’d do it again!! But soon I was married and in decade three. From the time I was twenty until thirty-three, my kids were not teens yet, so with great glee I’d have them help decorate the Christmas tree and buy them cute toys, for St. Nick I became! Those years too passed fast; it was a shame when my son got older, and found holidays all lame, and soon enough, Christmas was never the same. Just hubbie and I. Christmas then became brand new. It's fun to have grand kids to give presents to. But even THOSE years have become nearly through. My sisters live far away. There’s less and less to do! My Christmas keeps changing each decade or so. 12/20/17 For Laura Loo's Rhyme Time III Poetry Contest Topic 3: Christmas
