I'M Still In the Picture But Not In the Frame
Why do both of us keep wondering Just what might have been When we could've been together Instead we're just friends Who am I to question fate I guess When I am just a man I'm still in the picture But not in the frame And every time I see him standing there It brings a little pain I'm not saying I'm not happy where I am But I wonder what could be One thing I've always known Is that I'm never over you And I keep fighting with myself That I may never get the proof Of knowing what we could have been And it keeps on killing me Cause I'm still in the picture But not in the frame And every time I see him standing there It brings a little pain I'm not saying I'm not happy where I am But I wonder what could be Years ago I had my vices I don't think we would've worked But now through clearer eyes I realize I've been replaced with the hurt Of being stuck with what might have been Instead of loving you I'm still in the picture But not in the frame And every time I see him standing there I know where to cast the blame I'm not saying I'm not happy where I am But I wonder what could be Sometimes fate that goes unanswered Becomes reality And Maybe it's not you Baby maybe it's just me I'm still grateful for what I've been given I wouldn't trade it for the world I'm still in the picture But not in the frame
