Woman
What do I do, what can I say Where are the words to begin You’ve laid me here this special day Just to bless me once again From the dust I’ve been created But you saw an emptiness in my soul You knew beforehand that I’d be frustrated That my heart would probably grow cold For a time you’ve laid me to rest In order to restructure my flesh and bone To provide a comfort and relieve my stress So I’d not live in this world alone Now that you’ve awaken me There’s so much I want to learn Of this beautiful sight I’m blessed to see Causing a fire inside me that burns In touching, it’s much softer that I Then the arms begin to unfold In my examination all I can do is cry And I’m hearing things I’ve never been told Lord, what’s the meaning of this Teach me that I may truly understand All these things I’m feeling from a kiss Shows me what’s lacking in man It stands right by my side And looks me dead in my eyes For with it I must provide Lord this is your most awesome surprise As we walk hand in hand What words could I use? Should I show love or just make demands? It’s not something You’d want me to abuse I don’t believe this could get any better For so much is stirred up on the inside There’s a thought of us coming together This is where I’ll always abide Now that I’ve been made complete Words cannot express what you've woven It stands by my side as my helpmeet My God, I’m going to name it Woman
