Haze
It all seems like a dream. I very faint, wonderful, mesmerizing dream. The kind that leaves you breathless, and wanting to go back to sleep. I try to picture you holding me, kissing me, but everything has a haze like visibility. All I want is to go back. Back to when you were mine. When I was happy with my life. When I knew what I wanted, which was you. Us. A future, a family. Everything was to clear to me. I could see myself walking down the aisle towards you, and our first dance as if it were a memory rather than a dream. Now that is all slipping away from me. Your face isn't as clear. Your voice... I'm struggling to hear. The feel of your touch. The way you smell. It's all fading into nothing but a distant memory. Soon you will be gone and I will be left with only the empty feeling inside that I've felt since the day I let you go. I miss you so much, you don't even know. Maybe one day.
