A Child Connected
He is a child of the Caribbean race not ment to be confined in this small space That place has a constricting atmosphere and an icy chill lingers there Can't sense any warmth though its extraordinarily bright just an errie buzz from the neon lights Persons dressed to the T and looking like a boss yet it seems that the freedom in their step is lost Productivity, is now the order of the day work like a slave! or you won't get paid Eliciting his best with a bonus incentive to max the matrix be Preemtive, Inventive! Too bad its a lie, a well thought out farce designed to be the reins for this work horse Who is ridden by money and perpetual greed society's construct and his basic needs So he trades his freedom for a jacket and tie conforms to the rules and becomes that guy! The one well dressed in the blazing sun so prim that he's forgotten how to have fun Lost in a maze of corporate deception blind to the truth and his rejection Of the things which really matter that allowed him to be A child connected, proud & free!
