Title Fight
He’s half way through the twelfth; of a fifteen round fight; Larger then life dropped him a couple of times; he took a nine count. The ref gave him a standing eight also; but he’s up and throwing hooks. His opponent has a look of concern; because he just won’t stay down. Soon respect comes in; and what ever happens it’s one for the books. Living, for him has been a battle of one kind or another; and life is no joke. At least right now there are rules; like no kicking when you’re down. He’s never had it in him to kick someone; not when they’re down or standing. It’s not fighting its boxing; that’s what you have to do if you want to live. He’ll bob- weave and throw combinations; and leave it to the judges to decide. This is brutal you say; but are you seeing something in-between rounds? You ever have to go a few rounds with; disease, sickness, poverty? Brutal isn’t it; do you think it’s any worse than this portrayal? He’s well beyond his years but he’s still standing; and holding his own. A boxer in the ring of life; he must be defeated because he will not lie down.
