The Government's made changes, Must be politically correct Different rules are set in place There's some toys he can't select. Barbie dolls are off his list, Said to reveal an image poor. They could cause anorexia, And Golliwogs to be no more. Baseball bats and cricket bats Must not be in appearance They could be used as weapons And Santa has no insurance. Matters have turned personal, He's too fat so they have said, He can't expect those reindeer To pull his weight in a sled. Activists set some reindeer loose, To free them from pulling weight, Which keeps him in a quandary Now he has four instead of eight. Santa's heard it has been told 'Merry Christmas' must not be said, It may offend the Muslims Can use 'Seasons' Greetings' instead. Santa was feeling quite upset, But Mrs. Clause said to reject, All this silly stuff and nonsense To be politically correct. Santa took her wise advice, Plus his reindeer's had come back. He left shouting 'Merry Christmas' With all promised toys in his sack. Copyright © Vivien Wade Dec. 1016.
