The Great War
Ordinary men casted for war Generals needed an army of more Then the army could finally score Swords raised high and heads held upright Surely you know what happened that night Some say it was a terrible sight What caused this terrible product Was actually a military conflict The puzzle complete with every click Soldiers were crying Slowly Dying And some even goodbying Disease spreading everywhere The soldiers needed care But there was no one even there Swords are clinging Ears are ringing From cannons sweetly singing Bombs exploding People eroding And soldiers are hurting Crops were crushed Where soldiers were in a rush Oh they were growing so lush Soldiers were covered in red And their hair looks like they came out of bed They were also poorly fed One gun shot Equals a great cost And caused so much money to be lost So many people killed I guess some people with a gun were skilled Some people were not very thrilled The fight started very small But soon it turned into a huge brawl The economy took a fall Farmers were mad All the crops went bad Children were sad Everything was damaged Children were famished They had vanished Bombs left grass black Fields were attacked People who were alive came back Children cried Because their father died Mothers held them tight Farmers were dead Which meant trouble ahead Oh how were children going to be fed The economy came crashing down With hardly any food around How are people going to live in this small small town Everywhere was affected The crops looked neglected Everything that happened was expected People built back everything strong Surely it would hold up long Boy were they wrong Life returned normal again That was finally the end
