If I Never Rhyme Again
What if I lose my talent and can't find my pen? What if I never rhyme again? When listing the best poets, would I make the cut? What's worse? Writers block or a paper cut I've got over a thousand finished poems, I don't know how many words I have left What if I start to use my pad less? I'm good at rhyming, but struggle with structure, I could use the balance Am I even good at poetry?, or did I abuse my talent? I write 30 poems a day, maybe i should Write less Not even sure if I've wrote a poem I've liked yet "This lines good" "But that needs to go" i'm so Indecisive I need a new topic, but also need Inspiration to Ignite it Writing got me to stop self-harming, so am I a success with my words? Am I too honest?, do people get upset with a verse? Should I write about this, and stop writing about that? Should I rhyme about flowers and happiness, instead of what I'm fighting out back? Am I wrong for expressing my troubled mind? Should I stop with the double rhymes? Wanted to write like Eminem & Tupac, but maybe I'm not as lyrical as I make out If I want to be a good poet, I should probably rip this page out I'm my own harshest critic I write about the places I found hard to visit Do I care too much about the art of lyrics? Can you mend a tortured artists spirit?
