A Stolen Poem
I was surprised to find this poem on Bing. It had a very familiar ring I wrote it 15 years ago!!! No credit is given to the schmoe who "borrowed" it without consent. That's what I most resent. That and that awful color scheme More of a nightmare than a dream Purple font on blackened sky ~ It's not at all pleasing to the eye. I claim my poem as one of prose and get over the theft, I suppose. ************* at Jan's request I'm posting the original poem We searched for each other in the most unlikely places among the most unlikely people and when our paths finally crossed it was for reasons so entangled that we might not even have noticed except for that faint quiver of wonder like a passing chill from the night air we loved and the closest we've come to explaining why is because it was you and because it was I *NOTE: There are two lines inserted in the center that are NOT mine "in our daily bread - and the usual trespasses" So they steal a poem and then add words of a religious nature. How very unChristian of them.
