Come In Lord Jesus
COME IN LORD JESUS “Come into my heart, Lord Jesus,” I prayed in earnest one day. He came and brought salvation when He cleansed my sins away. My life, now destined for heaven, seemed happy that moment in time, But as I walked with my Savior, I still had things on my mind. “Come into my soul, Lord Jesus,” I prayed as I gave Him some more; I thought that when I said that prayer, that I had made Him Lord. I thought my life was committed to wherever He wants me to go, But I found I still had some battles that troubled and bothered me so. “Come into my strength, Lord Jesus,” I prayed, thinking now I would win; I thought when I gave Him my body, the victories would surely begin. I knew that His strength was made perfect in all of my weakness, so now I had given my heart, soul, and strength, but I still felt so helpless somehow. “Come into my mind, now, Lord Jesus,” and that’s what He wanted to hear, The prayer that surrenders completely my future, its doubt and its fear. For victory to all be completed, surrender of all I must find; I’ll pray these four prayers now daily for my heart, soul, my strength, and my mind.
