I hide it pretty well so that others won’t know. I’ve tried to keep it from even my closest friends, But I sense that they’re able to see that I’ve changed. I don’t want them to worry about what’s around the bend. Either they know what’s wrong, or they just think I’m deranged. There’s only one person in the world I can blame For what has happened to me over this past year. Once I confront her, things will never be the same, But she has to know, regardless of my fear. I hope the news of what I have won’t devastate her. She’s been a very close friend for most of my life. For what’s been ailing me is my undying love for her. I would like to someday soon ask her to be my wife.
