Perfectly Imperfect
I am not perfect and nor are you, I have fallen and so have you, I have made my mistakes and so have you. I have my weaknesses and so do you. You may not have had the same experiences as mine. Yet we have had our shares for rises and falls. The point is: neither are you leading the same life, neither am I? Then why do you mock me when I try to get up? Why do you judge me when I try to lead my life? Why do you pull me down each time I try to rise? I do not want you to help me, Nor do I want you to sympathize, I just want to you let me lead, The remaining life I have. Let me rise above my imperfections, Let me soar above my past, Let me walk with the head held high,, And let the chapters of my life fly by. I do not want to be perfect, I cannot be perfect, I am perfectly imperfect. That’s me… That’s who I am Still growing, still learning, still living.
