Dad
You made me what I am today, A person that is strong. In so many a way, We are where we belong. When I was a little tot, I looked up to you. By your side was my spot, I wanted to do everything with you. Through my eyes, An idol is what I would see. One that was wise, That is who I always wanted to be. As time moves on, Life seems to get strange. Soon you will be gone, My life then would forever change. Just like friends that move away, We too would grow apart. No longer knowing how to say, What we feel in our heart. It is too bad, About the way it is now. The feeling of always being sad, I am sure can be healed somehow. By bringing up the past, We bring back all the pain. Wondering how long it will last, We try to refrain. Now comes the hard part, Hoping for something we already had. You are forever in my heart, Always remember that Dad.
