Love's Sweet Refrain
From across the garden their eyes meet without strain as the quiet evening whispers love’s sweet refrain. The star light twinkles down on the night like rain; the scent of Jasmine in the air drives them insane, as the lovers care not their desires to restrain. The crescent moon smiles down on them with rapture as the quiet evening whispers love’s sweet refrain; the lovers yearn for their passion to capture. They come together and he touches her face as they hold each other in love’s sweet embrace. Their parted lips meet and hearts begin to race as the night becomes steamy and the lovers chase their wanton desires; soon the dance of love to take place. The crescent moon descends and dawn makes way as they hold each other in love’s sweet embrace. With their passions sated, they begin their new day, but the memory of their night, in their mind, still lingers… November 3, 2017
