Sorrow For Tomorrow
I've been sitting here for hours now just staring into space Remembering the bad times, God help me. I'm so bitter with emotion and my tears burn down my face Wish I could keep my sorrow for tomorrow and be free. The room is very dark now and I notice every flicker Remembering the bad times, God help me. My mind is utter turmoil, overflowing, growing sicker Wish I could keep my sorrow for tomorrow and be free. My images are etching on my eyelids when my eyes close Remembering the bad times, God help me. My body is feeling tortured from my head down to my toes Wish I could keep my sorrow for tomorrow and be free. Now I'm shaking with pure panic as the tension builds within me Remembering the bad times, God help me. I hear shouting, screaming crying and it's sounding from within me Wish I could keep my sorrow for tomorrow and be free I am lost now in my visions filled with terror and revulsion Remembering the bad times, God help me. My sweat's dripping, I taste vomit and I'm filled with pure repulsion Wish I could keep my sorrow for tomorrow and be free. As I slowly find my senses and my mind begins to function From remembering the bad times, God help me I start praying to the Lord to leave me here now at this junction Please God don't keep my sorrow for tomorrow let me be....
