Toxins and Curls For Contest Fragile
The universe is an enormous place Where we can measure distance in light years But fragility lives within that space And is the cause of many human fears Oceans we sail and the air that we taste Are more fragile than the strands of spun glass Streams and rivers run foul with toxic waste As they threaten to destroy us en masse But those fragilities are naught, my friend When compared with my teenaged daughter's heart It is either broken or on the mend As some young Romeo tears it apart The foul teeming seas with their toxic blobs - The carbon emissions filling our air Pale when compared to the soft, stifled sobs From that fragile girl with the golden hair 10/16/2017 For contest Fragile by John Hamilton 10/16/2017 For contest Fragile by John Hamilton
