September Kiss
I finally opened your letter and read every word within my heart, I hear you speak words written so long ago You left without goodbye as you came without hello When summer dimmed we fell in love as Autumn begin to glow First hand and hand slowly fading into shadow That first September kiss lead to such sweet bliss I can never forget the magic of our September kiss It was best we break up things happened too fast for you I had fallen to deep You had so much you wanted to do Nobody's fault love is such a fickle thing You wrote I would soon forget you In my dreams, I still whisper your name I close the letter, fold into the envelope I guess it's funny I was always a dope It's been some years and we found each other again We did not acknowledge one another too easy to pretend Paper burns rapidly into ash Nothing burns quickly as a heart broken and smashed September kiss passion igniting a fire September kiss crushed within desire Ashes of your letter blown into the lonely wind I had to see you once more for that love to finally end.
