Prejudice
Kids are much smarter than we give them credit for. Maybe from them we could learn a thing or two. They are so innocent and their hearts are open doors. Treating others with kindness is a natural thing to do. They lay in the hospital next to many other races, Chatting away and already making friends so young. They don’t know that they come from so many places. To them, it’s just a group of nice people they’re among. Why do some people treat others with no decency, Just because they’re different in one way or another? There are many problems with morals in society, But things could be better if we just love each other. We put others down because they aren’t the same, And we justify this by assuming that we’re better. If we took a step back and didn’t treat life like a game, We’d know that not one of us follows goodness to the letter. What people don’t realize is that we’re different for a reason, So that we can learn from each other from things that we do. Life would be pretty boring without a change of season. Remember: “You’re only as naïve as those who taught you.”* *Anonymous quote
