The Past That Came Back
As life goes on and we leave the past behind us, we continue to look forward toward our future. They say what goes around comes around, and I guess that our past does the same thing. A person can go on with life and put the past out of their thoughts, but the past is never gone and it is not in reality even forgotten. I am not saying you can go back into your past and right a wrong. That is how we learn, we all learn from our mistake and we all learn from our experiences. So do not just shut the door to the past, sometimes the past is the only key to your future. Have you ever lost contact with a loved one? Have you ever wondered what happen to someone? Have you ever thought about what could have been, or how something would have turned out? On the other hand, have you asked yourself this same question repeatedly “What If”. Have you ever thought about looking up an old friend just to see how he/she is doing? Do you just go on day to day only thinking about what will tomorrow bring, or do you always look forward without ever looking back? I did not know what to do or what to say. It had been over 10 years and yet just by talking to, hearing from, or seeing this person from my past had brought back so many memories. I myself thought I had lost and put away those feelings and emotions forever.
