It's Been Real
Every now and then, I go on what I call a, "wilderness survival excursion." Basically I venture deep into some remote wilderness region, with little more than the clothes that I'm wearing, and survive on whatever Nature may be providing. The only items of technology, that I bring along with me, totals three: 1. Two quart steel jugs to boil and store water bacteria free. 2. A magnifying glass to make fire before the sun goes to sleep. 3. An all purpose knife known as The Bowie. Well, my family and friends, it is time for me to test my wilderness survival skills yet once again. I should only be gone for a month at least, but if I do not return, I'm possibly Resting In Peace, providing nourishment to predatory scavengers desperate to eat, decomposing in the forest soil nourishing the plants and trees. If I could truly rest in peace, that is where I would want my final resting place to be, Giving Back To Nature as Nature Had Given To Me,.. ..OR,.. There is always that possibility, that I chose not to return back to society, and live my remaining years, as harsh and brief as it may be, living a lifestyle that has always made me feel happy, and that is why I never reveal the locality, of where my "wilderness survival excursion" is going to be, because if I chose not to return back to society, Why on earth would I reveal my locality? I obviously would not want to be found by anybody, ALSO If I were to suffer a fatality, Why would anyone in their right mind send out a search party? Lives would be risked by many, who could very well suffer serious injuries, not to mention, their own possible unfortunate, untimely finality,.. .. and for what?.. to search for and maybe find a dead body?.. .. that is, find a dead body if they're extremely lucky. Nature's sanitation process works very rapidly. Within a week there would be absolutely no trace at all of me. I Forbid Anyone To Take Such A Risk Unnecessarily, Searching For Remains Possibly Belonging To Yours Truly, and for that reason also, I never reveal my locality. Chances that I'll be back in a month are very likely. I've done this many times before, it's nothing new to me, besides, I have way too much responsibility, always tying me back to society, like my pride of feral house cats who all need to feed, and a rescued red ear slider turtle whose name is Lucy,.. .. but should I not survive this ordeal, What can I say folks? "It's Been Real!"
