The Brick
Life turned upside down, you wonder in vain, where did life go wrong, why so much pain? You were told, “I have to work late”, “I have things to do, I provide for my family what more can I do?” You loved him so hard, no one can explain, that love so hard, so much pain. He lived his life as he chose fit, you stayed at home, you were the brick. He did not get life, it was all about him, he made you suffer, he made you cry, but he could not explain, he would only deny. It was all about him, his life and style he would live life amidst your denial. Who is perfect, who is crazy, who is insane, he would always tell you, you were to blame. Who is this man you loved so dear, one who is so tragic and so full of fear, that he must live his life and forget about you, to not dry your tears to not acknowledge you. I am very much the man today, thanks to you thanks to your pain, thanks for your love thanks for your rain. Mom no reason to explain...Poetry by Dean
