For friendship without love you cannot trust, and love without friendship is nothing but lust. Friendship alone will need an assist; friendship and love should always coexist. To be a friend you must give of yourself, or your friendship will likely end up on a shelf. To give of yourself you must have love; love as pure as the snow white dove. And nothing in return should you ever ask; for love is selfless, if you’re up for the task. And selfless is what we should all strive to be For this is God’s wish for you and for me. A selfless person demonstrates his love by seeking guidance from up above. Asking God for his strength to bestow on his dear friend and His blessings to flow. “All You Need is Love” the Beatles did sing, But I think friendship is the key to everything.
