Drowning
I feel alone. I have gone through trouble, I have been in the middle of trouble, I am trouble. Through these hard days I have done stuff that I regret. My bracelets cover my scars, My sweatshirt covers my insecurities, My smile covers my tears. I am far from perfect. Though I do not show it, I am far from happy. The stress of trying to be perfect is drowning me. Society is killing me slowly. My problems make me doubt. Music drowns out my thoughts, Drowns out the negativity, Music covers my tears. I do not want to grow old. I want to live forever young. I want to live life. What if I am dead before I turn thirty?\ Will people miss me? Will their smiles cover their tears? Will I finally be pretty enough, Six feet under? You need to be perfect they say. Society breaks us down, Eventually to kill us all. But one day we will let go from everything, And drown.
