I'M Not Perfect
Girl, I need you to know I'm not perfect I don't think I can make it any clearer When I look at my reflection Am I seeing a broken man or a broken mirror? You can do better, don't take it wrong No point in trying to revisit a place that's gone I'm in and out of clubs I'm a good man who just doesn't know how to love My parents chose drink over me, so I detached myself from feelings How can any girl heal me, when I have numerous wounds still bleeding I'll find my way, but it's something I have to do alone You're a queen, but I can't provide you the throne You deserve so much more I always gave you less You offered me a clean start Somehow I still made a mess I'm battling demons, that are twice my size Letting love close is something I struggle with I'd tell you I miss you, but I'm still having to fight my pride You're who I'll hold dearly, even if you're not who I cuddle with Girl, I need you to know I'm not perfect I don't think I can make it any clearer When I look at my reflection Am I seeing a broken man or a broken mirror?
