My Mother
Sweet mother, I'll never forget u, for the suffering u suffered for me That's what a musician said This is what m saying Oh my mother, I never knew the kind of gift the creator blessed me with right from creation till now.. Sleepless night n stressful days, so that I may have a place to lay my head So that I may have a life, So that I may have a secured future... U are my doctor, my teacher, my companion, my role model, my joy, my pride, my happiness, my best friend, and so on U were always there when death sneaked up on u n tried to snatch my soul... U banged on heavens gate to seek solution from the kingdom of God U were always there when I had parallel F's in school.. u scolded me, whipped me n here I am standing as a maths prodigy and a poet... U never gave up on me.. U gave me ur food n went hungry. When there is no blanket, u wrapped me in ur arms n made me feel warm not minding the harsh cold that whipped ur skin... U struggled day and night.. under rain and sun.. under strong health and weaknesses.. under broken hearts and curved bones.. under disappointments n depression just to make sure my future is secured.. U are the wisest woman I know The strongest woman I know The most enduring woman I know The best thing that ever happened to me I love u mom.. Keep living for me...
