You are afraid to love(Eros) again.* A most pleasing and tasteful experience has turned sour. The sourness narrows your confidence in future prospects. You are afraid to love again because you have trust issues. You have those trust issues because you have been betrayed. You have been betrayed, but the betrayal has nothing to do with you. It has nothing to do with you because the other person has inner issues. You could not have solved those issues and neither will the next person. You must understand this, believe this, get over the betrayer, and be the 'best you' possible. Must one or more sour grapes shut me down and render future experiences unpalatable? No! We love food, and also eat food to live. Without teeth, perfectly good and savory foods would not be digested. What if we had no tongues to taste, detect and distinguish the many and various foods?
