''Write It My Dear, Write It''
When I was a little girl, I watched my sister die, her blood soaking the pure white snow and I stopped talking; It was grandma who broke the trance and told me to write, write it my dear, write it, and she gave me a journal and pen. And that was the beginning, I wrote my sorrow, I wrote my pain, I wrote poems about my cat, about flowers; Thus a poet was born and I never stopped, writing is my life, without words I am lost in a sea of nothingness and darkness. I write about my feelings, my experiences in life, about death, a lot of my poems lead me to cemeteries and tombs; Have you ever written in a cemetery? It is deep with tranquility, so peaceful, it just makes you so inspired with the birds singing. I often go to churches to write, the silence inspiring, a veil of calmness comes over me and I let my mind just wander; Some of my best poems were written in the dimness of churches, and nature, oh sweet nature is endless with its inspiration. ___________________________ September 5, 2017 Poetry/Verse/"Write it my dear, write it" Copyright Protected, ID 17-937-543-0 All Rights Reserved.
