God has given them the ability to appear human when sent on assignments of human interests. There are many angels, and I feel certain that God knows them all by name. However, the two most notable angels are Gabriel and Michael. Their chief purposes are to serve God and mankind. It is also important to note that there are both evil and good angels. Notwithstanding, the good angels are still under God's domain and service; whereas the so called evil angels are really fallen angels now known as demons that were once angels in heaven. It is believed that they numbered a third of the angels in heaven. These angels, with their leader Lucifer, rebelled against the God of heaven and were cast out. They now exist as disembodied evil spirits with the knowledge and realization that eternal punishment awaits them in God's appointed time. We notice from the Biblical account that Satan, the chief fallen angel, desired to be worshiped by Jesus. On the contrary, at no time, under no circumstances, in any situation, on no occasion did God's angels ever desire or allowed themselves to be worshiped, praised, or prayed to. Each time that they accomplished their mission, they returned to their heavenly home. We are earthly beings as were Adam and Eve who were created as male and female and given the ability to reproduce themselves and populate the earth with their kind. Unlike us, angels are heavenly beings and therefore 'gender neutral'. They have no need for marriage as we know it and do not reproduce themselves. God determines their numbers, and they faithfully serve His purposes both in heaven and on earth. Historically, God has used angels in military assignments and will do so in the future. In Persia for example, presently Iran, the angel Gabriel encountered evil spirit forces which hindered and delayed him from coming to Daniel's aid. As a result, the angel Michael was dispatched to relieve Daniel as Michael himself took command of the battle. The Bible has much to say about angels, and God has His angels available and ready to be dispatched to any of His assignments. At God's command they assist and minister to us. 09032017 PS Contest, Angels, Mystic Rose Source: Bible
