Conversation With Space Junk
I backpacked a chair to the top of a hill far away from the city one thermos had Earl Grey tea another black coffee and a flask of the good for the wee hours of morning with the city lights in the distance the universe was mine to gaze upon settled in the cool night air Earl Grey tea and Blueberry bun I saw something fly past that was not officially there it was a weather balloon ball lightening space junk reflection of the moon on a cloud after I seen it I spiked a second cup grabbed my glass and was looking up as a small fire ball stopped on its fall and hovered in space heard someone’s heart race mine it like a picture of a mine looked like metal but seemed to be stone it glowed on the edges my telescope put me there in the air so close then it turned and burned a path across the sky in the blink of an eye it went blur it was there it was here so close I felt the heat felt the heat think I wet my pants no it was spilled tea I could hear as someone walked down path of light night air crackled in step might have ran but had no strength no will I felt safe heard a voice with a familiar tone a hand passed me a stone too many words too fast at first questions answered and questions asked hours passed I wondered where is the sun according to my watch it was late he laughed as he ate a Blue berry bun sipped Earl Grey tea said to me he travels between time within a Nova-field made from a piece of a Neutron star in 10,000 years man will go far all around us time stood still when he left I waited on the hill for sunrise just in case
