When they steal you of sleep like thieves in the night, When the day comes that you’re to weary to fight, When they leave you unwashed and rob you of pride, When you they leave you exposed with no places to hide, When they shroud you in darkness and fill you with pain, When their icy venom runs cold and hard through your veins, When the fear of tomorrow is too much to bear, When your body fills with terror and your lungs empty of air, When the demon is winning and your light has but gone, Now is just just darkness where a light brightly shone.
