I return to a deep pain in my soul that resides in corners unresolved. But the burdens aren’t as they used to be. With many years of learning not to carry the weight of other’s actions from long ago. Some will continue to cut the trees down in a beautiful forest where all the shining ferns blanket the ground. A place that could have been shared, allowed to grow, for all to see in a positive way. But, they are stuck, chopping at the truth, as if to rid of it all. However, there will always be more forests growing, providing cover where wildflowers bloom.
