Lighthouse
Whenever there is a call of distress She is ready, willing and waiting; always at her best. When the test is done, over evil she relishes triumphantly; she has won. Calmly, she waits for the next great swell, will it be the exhilaration of heaven or the devastation of hell? A steadfast beacon in a torrential whirlpool, A safe haven, when the waves are dangerous, the sea uncertain and cruel. Shining her radiant beams, with her patient love, mending all of life's seams. Holder of hands, saving grace, buoy of impossible dreams. Her angelic, unconditional light has weathered many a storm, Her welcoming harbor embraces her loved ones; safe and warm. Patiently she waits from dawn until evening gloom, to warn of unfounded danger, or impending doom. No matter how far away from her they roam, she will eternally, joyfully guide them home.
