Sun and Moon
Each dusk and daybreak, Sun kissed Moon as their glow filled Earth. Whenever Sun left, Moon would soak up the chilly nighttime, waiting for Sun's warm peck. Though Moon was surrounded by darkness, Sun gave him a light when she would peek her head up. Every summer brimmed him with a reason to give Earth a vast star-filled twilight. However, sometimes Moon would veil himself in gray clouds when Earth would be with Sun. Sun gave Earth a sweltering grin when she wore her vivid rays around him. Yet at times, he wouldn't gaze at her because he was blinded by his humanity. The nature that Sun had healed, his vile mankind would damage. It would make Sun camouflage in the clear vapor above and quiver. Plants, as well as animals, would be ill and frequently die off when she hid. Still, Moon gave her a justification to shine plus rise up to Earth's foggy side. She was surrounded by a fluorescent mask too often, but Moon would see her burns. Thus, Moon would calmly talk with Earth while Sun would bury into Moon's nightly embrace. When she was done crying in his cuddle, they would meet eyes once again. So, each dusk and daybreak, Moon kissed Sun as their glow filled Earth. Contest: Free verse on love Sponsor: Laura Loo Written On: July 6th, 2017
