I Love Rhyming
I love rhyming so I'm going to go on a rhyming spree Never had friends to go out with to be climbing trees Growing up in foster care, I picked up a pen and studied dictionaries Using my words to create something beautiful from an ugly history Numbers don't lie, But I don't follow a word count I just make sure every line matters and I make every verse count I hear them telling me to cool down because my pen burns through lines Sometimes I hit them with the Internal rhymes Then maybe switch it up and use double rhymes and Multi-syllable I scar the page so it screams and make sure every bully hears it all I haven't even gone fully lyrical If i Rock the bells, it doesn't mean there's a wedding at a church It means i'm listening to LL cool J and about to give you heaven in a verse Writers block isn't real it's make believe Or maybe I'm Jason Voorhees with a pen and won't let these words escape from me A psychotic poet who's obsessed with words and rhyming Put my heart into every verse I'm writing I give my food for thought and make everyone think it's lunchtime Then I hit them with a few punchlines If you let me use your pad then it's no longer yours If you let me use your pen, it's your pen no more Give me a day and I'll fill in a whole notebook I love rhyming so much
