Child
Child. Little child, one day you'll grow up, You'll be a man, You'll become a beautiful lady, All eyes will be on you. You'll sit down one day, Remember all the struggles you have gone through. Pray to God, To show you guidance in the path you follow, Seek for His protection, Learn not to judge, but to accept all. Don't hold onto family rivalry, But cherish those who are close to you. Give a smile to those who need it, Learn to give and not to steal. Don't be disappointed when you face hardships, They'll make you strong. Don't you know that the clouds don't last too long in the sky? Keep your friends and hear what your enemy says. Learn to have your life clean. Assist those who are in need. Know that the world is a cold place, You came to give some warmth. Do the good that's within you and leave the bad. If you stumble, stand and go forward. Little child, keep thy Word in your heart.
