Just Another Rape Poem
Another couple of verses, about a girl that was left deserted, made to feel worthless. But you got what you wanted. You got what you craved. But that girl, she will never be saved, from the hands wrapped around her throat, in a permanent choke. From the man eating at her mind, like he ate between her thighs. Tell me this is jus another rape poem. Consumed by grief. It was blue, like the color of his briefs lying on the floor, as he told her she'd never be anything more, than a toy for his desires , a pump for his flat tires. he thought she would be more than his sex doll, until she said "NO", and she was left trying to crawl. But tell me, this is just another rape poem. A seven year-old-girl, she had faith in the world, was taught to stay away, fro men that looked her way. Until one day, a man did more than look. He took her hand and read her like a book. He opened her up and felt her like braille. He left her body broken and frail, and she could no longer say "NO", because of what he shoved down her throat. And this is just another rape poem. Another sad beginning, and it wasn't a happy ending, for the teenage girl that was "asking for it", with her little pink skirt. It's still hidden away in a drawer, she no longer thinks her long pants are a bore. If only she wore them that day, when that ugly man took a part of he away. This is just another rape poem. The day a man disregarded my words, because my body made something in him stir. When he looked t me he wanted to taste, so he touched me and covered my face. As I screamed "NO", but o means yes, and yes means harder. Tell me again, that I am just another rape poem.
