What Ears Will Hear, What Eyes Will See
She is round and full of great mystery Surrounding her lays so much history In the meadows where sweet flowers did grow With little faces, they put on a show In mighty tall trees where birds made their nest A safe haven, where squirrels took their rest Where tinkling springs of cool waters did run Racing neath shadows made by a bright sun Soft rain washing down, made everything new The magical touch of the morning dew… But there are those who say, just let it go Don’t worry so much, don’t put on a show The meadows will grow, the poisons won’t harm And fish won’t die when the oceans stay warm Some eyes are closes to the damage they do How much more can we take ‘fore they are thru Open your eyes, put on your listening ears Hear the earth cry, see Mother Nature’s tears… The birds and squirrels, the trees and the streams Are begging mankind… let us keep our dreams!
