Crossroads
Tear after tear News after news Trying to hold it together but its the hardest thing ever Wondering what else will happen Worrying about if you can take anymore Thinking of how it all happened or who has caused this Creating a plan in your head with not one idea Contemplating doing the wrong thing Praying that you make the best decision Hoping that no one judges you Willing to do whatever it takes but then you stop and think maybe this is all a dream Maybe I am just walking in my dream from last night The dream that had my heart racing The dream that almost killed me right before my own eyes The dream that you hope one day will go away The dream that seems to haunt you every time something goes wrong or you feel weak about a situation The dream that came true when you open your eyes and saw that you were in 2 dreams at the same time and you don't know which way to go You try to wake up but every time you think you are awake you end up in the opposite dream So you stop and think why am I having this dream What am I afraid of What is holding me hostage What is keeping me from moving forward Then as you relax and take a deep breath you awake from both dreams to find yourself in the front of a mirror and the person in the mirror is yourself and that's when you realize that you can't move forward until you get all of you on the same page
