A Poets Last Rhyme
Unlike any feeling ive ever known, she stole more than my heart, she stole my spirit.....my soul. This is more love than i thought id ever see, its unimaginable, more than i ever hoped it would be. Words only tears can speak, i cry only tears of joy. Looking at her i see my future, my wife, my little girl and boy. Reaching out to kiss her lips, ive never felt anything so fine. It's so incredible when our bodies touch, i can feel her love harmonizing with mine. I feel as if i came so far, as though im finally home. She really is the one, dear Lord she finally knows. I no longer have to stay up late, dreaming, thinking of words to write. I think i can say goodbye now, ive finally found some peace at night. I started writing poetry not just as a man, but as a man in love. I continued writing poetry not as a man in love, but as a man not knowing how it felt to be loved. Now i will end writing poetry not as a man not knowing, but as one who now knows. So as i end my last poem ill end it write, ill end it with this last line..........I finally did it, ive found the one, she's this poets last rhyme.
