Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I woke up in a dream But in that dream you were right there I woke up to a scream But as I screamed you just stared I could hear so many voices But they were all in the dark I could hear people crying and feel their tear drops But I could not tell them apart I remember being still in the quiet of night My eyes opened to a chill and to a sudden fright Tubes were coming out of me and I couldn't move All I could do was look at what I could see casting stark light into the room As I watched it roll over the black of sky Casting movement in the corners where no shadows could hide I watched it sail in the clouds, I watched it melt them away It was all I had to cling to and I just couldn't let it get away I see your face talking, and the words, and the smiles You kiss my cheek and keep watching, looking deep into my eyes But as my mind will not permit any expression from my eyes I want you to know how much I love you, cos I'm still here behind this facade of organic lies I'm still here in this body that don't want to work any more I can't talk but I can listen, I can't cry but I can scream I want to hold you so badly, I want to hug you so real Then you go into your world, then I am left alone on this bed of steel I move my eyes and I see my old friend of the night sail right by I feel it watching me in those dark craters it has for eyes Somewhere I hear laughter echoing in the night Is it that face of light watching or some dark pain being released in my mind?
